How to Use GRASSFITT Products:
A Comprehensive Guide

Before using any GRASSFITT products, please ensure you are wearing goggles or protective glasses and gloves. Always work in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors. Clear the area of any dust or debris and brush away excess water if working in wet conditions.

Important Note: The demonstration video provided is for illustration purposes only. In actual applications, never lift the grass after applying the adhesive, as this can damage the bond.

  • Assembly: Assemble the applicator head off the gun by aligning the top and bottom sections with the rod inside, securing them with the four O-rings.

  • Attachment: Push the assembled applicator head onto the gun until the barbs are securely inside the head.

  • Post-Use: After application, set the applicator head aside and allow the glue to dry for 24 hours. Once fully dried, the glue can be easily removed mechanically.

Glue Gun:

  1. Preparation:

    • Ensure the flow regulator is fully wound in, locking the trigger.

    • Remove the black safety cap from the GRASSFITT glue tin.

    • Attach the gun to the glue tin by screwing clockwise, keeping the glue upright and the gun upside down. Do not over-tighten.

  2. Activation:

    • Shake the tin vigorously about 20 times or for 5 seconds.

    • Adjust the flow regulator to control the amount of product dispensed.

  3. Post-Use:

    • You can keep the glue tin on the gun for up to 30 days if the nozzle is clean.

    • Leave the flow regulator open and spray GRASSFITT's glue cleaner on the gun's end, wiping clean with a cloth.

    • Close the airflow regulator to prevent hardening of the glue.

Straw:

  1. Preparation:

    • Shake the glue tin vigorously about 20 times or for 5 seconds.

    • Remove the black safety cap and attach the straw by pushing down and twisting.

  2. Usage:

    • Keep the glue tin upside down and use the plastic trigger to spray.

  3. Post-Use:

    • Remove and dispose of the straw. Clean the top of the glue tin with glue cleaner to prevent resin build-up.

  1. Cleaning the Gun:

    • Unscrew the adhesive tin and place it upright for later use.

    • Spray around the gun thread and main port. Wipe clean with a cloth.

    • Attach the GRASSFITT cleaner and vent into a bin with a paper towel to catch any blowback.

    • Continue spraying until the gun runs clear.

  2. Post-Use:

    • Wipe the main nozzle head with a cleaner-dampened towel.

    • Depressurize the gun by pulling the trigger while unscrewing the tin.

    • Dispose of any used straws, and ensure the glue tin top is clean.

  1. Application:

    • Lift the edge of the artificial grass and apply the glue to the required surface. The glue adheres to almost any solid, clean surface.

    • The foam will turn into a low-profile gel, providing a flat surface.

    • Position the artificial grass and press down to pop all foam bubbles for a strong, flat finish. Weigh down any curling edges.

  2. Curing Time:

    • Initial grab time is approximately 8 minutes.

    • Full curing is achieved in 24 hours.
